EasyApache is a built-in very intresting tools developed by cpanel and one of the major Cpanel intention to use in my opinion is its easyapache that rebuild apache the best way along other Web Hosting Control Panels

Today I installed a new CentOS Operation system “minimal 6.3 i386” and I encountered an error while I was trying to rebuild the apache to update php modules and the builed returned errors that I have included them in the following

!!
Output from '/usr/bin/getfacl /usr/bin/perl':
getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names
# file: usr/bin/perl
# owner: root
# group: root
user::rwx

Output from 'ls -l /usr/bin/perl':

Output from 'lsattr /usr/local/bin/perl':

localhost did not have any working mirrors.  Please check your internet connection or dns server. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/HttpRequest.pm line 596.

as you can see at the very end line there is an error
localhost did not have any working mirrors. Please check your internet connection or dns server. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/HttpRequest.pm line 596.

this is because of an error in the /etc/hosts that is configured incorrectly
to fix this open the /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1               localhost localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1             localhost localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
199.195.128.171         box20.bluednszone.com box20 localhost.localdomain localhost

The above is incorrect since in-front of box20.bluednszone.com box20
you can not have your hostname set with localhost

The Correct form should look like this

127.0.0.1               localhost localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1             localhost localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
199.195.128.171         box20.bluednszone.com box20

after that for making sure every thing would work correctly also restart the network service or just safly remove this task and go ahead and rebuild the apache using the easyapache and every thing must be working fine by then
you can also run easyapache by shell

/scripts/easyapache --build

The above would beuild apache and you mustn’t get any more of the above erros

Best Wishes
Woshka Niknam
Thanks
